Where does the sheriff not own a gun and his deputy have to keep his one bullet in his pocket? Of course, everyone knows it is only in the television town of Mayberry. Mayberry was never a real town, but Andy Griffith is a real person.

The Andy Griffith Show was a television series that began in’60 and continued for a total of eight seasons. Even now, forty years after the cameras stopped filming the television series, Andy, Aunt Bea, Deputy Fife and Opie continue to be shown in homes across America through the syndicated television show.
