All the major TV makers have plans for 3D TV to offer to the consumer.

Ad mention, 3D is nothing new and lot of people still remember wearing the red and green paper glasses to go for a rollercoster ride when in the movie theater.

Today endless croweds are visiting the theaters again wearing glasses while watching movies like avatar or Toy Story 3.

Only this time around 3D aims for home entertainment with much better effects and realistic pictures.

The movie theater stirr the interest and wet the appetite for more with BlueRay, broadband, cable and the new 3D TV more than ready to bring it into the home of everyone.

I watch the opening on a Sony Bravia Plasma TV KDL-46X1 and the colors are great and viviant.

Panasonic will offer two screen size from April and the price will be about 20% higher than current flat screen TVs.

My Answer:
In principle you can connect the the Samsung to your surround sound system, but to give you the right information on how to connect, I need to know your flat screen TV model and what receiver you have.

Compared to the conventional CRT TV screens, Plasma display devices quickly became recognized for their much improved digital image quality.
Conventional CRT’s use a electron beam to scan the picture from top to bottom at different intervals, which cause the phosphors to light thus creating the image.

Unlike convential CRT screens, Plasma screens have a transistor electrode for every single pixel which more evenly lights the image across the entire surface of the display.
Plasma televisions allow you to see movies in the format the director intended it to be viewed.

With a 16:9 aspect ratio, it was designed to match the natural field of view of the human eye. With billions of colors displayed resulting in smoother picture and detailed shading the picture quality is truly lifelike and amazing.
One important thing to consider when purchasing a Plasma television is what is the preferred resolution of the unit you will be purchasing.

Some common questions asked are whether or not to go with a HDTV (high definition TV) Plasma or the EDTV (Enhanced Definition TV). The HDTV unit is typically more expensive because the Plasma display element is more expensive.

Generally speaking, the HDTV will give you a higher quality image then the EDTV screen, however, the EDTV plasma screen may perform better with lower quality video input signals, such as satellite, regular cable and DVD.

If you have a lot of HDTV channels it would be more beneficial to purchase the HDTV plasma screen.

Either way both plasma screens will produce a high quality viewing experience from any compatible signal.

What about Used Plasma TVs?
If you are considering purchasing a used Plasma television then beware of some older model Plasma televisions that may have screen burn-in damage. Over time if some areas of the screen are used more frequently then others such as a menu bar or other graphical image then this may result in a permanent indentation of the image in the screen.

Over time the image quality will decline and the result is an overall muddy picture. Due to better technology, the newer plasma televisions are less likely to have this problem.

You’ve finally decided to purchase a plasma TV. You are so hooked on to this idea that you actually dream of viewing all of your favorite TV programs on the new Plasma TV with its sharp, clarity picture resolution.

How would you find a Plasma TV that works best for your needs and budget?

First, you should decide the dimensions of the television monitor that you want to buy. Note that Plasma TVs start with 32in. and then go up to 63in.
