High Definition TV

Before high definition satellite television, the first HD TV sets were released in’90s and ever since then the viewing experience has never been the same again for the millions of people that have purchased these sets. These HD TV sets are more superior than their predecessors in terms of image quality and sounds, providing for a more realistic and enjoyable viewing pleasure.

The common standard used in defining the quality of the picture is measured in scan lines. Simply put, the higher the value, the more brilliant the images. There are 525 lines for every image with Analog TVs while HD TVs or HDTVs have 1080 lines.
